for example the address of the website being the particular name of the website and the end only being dot than com i understand it is only for those who pay but it would be nice if free users could have the website to themselves.

Customers who choose the free plan still have the option to move their website to a custom domain (instead of a sub-domain). A custom domain on a free plan is $4.95 for the first year, and renews at $19/year after that. To move your website to a domain name, just contact Customer Support!
